Boquete is a beautiful city located in west Panama in the province of Chiriqui. This city is known to produce some of the best oranges and richest coffees on the planet. Boquete is quickly becoming a tourist destination due to the best weather in the world all year long.
It is nestled between mountains on three sides and has a beautiful river running through the center of town. In Boquete, you have both sunny and cool mountain weather. It is a beautiful healthy climate that many people believe is the secret to keeping people alive for a long time. The climate is considered nearly perfect, and this is why it’s called the valley of eternal spring.
Many people travel to Boquete just because of their huge mountains. This is one of the best places in the world to retire. In Boquete there are only about 20,000 people that currently live there. This is one of the best places in the world, especially if you enjoy the outdoors. The elevation alone of Boquete is 3,200 feet.
There are mountains around the town that are nearly 11,000 feet tall! The tallest point in Panama is the rim of the extinct Volcano Baru. From here the view is breathtaking; you can see both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Boquete’s neighbors to the north with the communities of Bocas del Toro and Chiriqui Grande, located in the Bocas del Toro province. Its neighbor to the east is the district of Gualaca, to the south are Dolega and David, and to the west is Bugaba.
